I just wish I could have actually seen them from my crappy seat in the left gallery.More importantly, though, on this date in 1953, Charles Mingus, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Max Roach, and Bud Powell gave what is considered one of the greatest jazz concerts ever at Massey Hall. More Beatles than I've ever listened to in my life.
